Cleaning Bottles

I had some time today so I figured I’d try to clean off my stockpile of beer bottles I had.  Well, two hours later I had 51 16oz bottles and 17 ‘bombers’ ready to use.A few weeks ago I purchased a $2.99 bucket from Lowe’s to soak the bottles in hot soapy water. I used the bucket as a ‘prep’ area to get k to actually clean the bottles

Tips

• Use gloves:  It may seem silly, but your hand will wrinkle in this long process.
• Use a hard core brillo style pad.  I picked up a copper one at the store.
• I used I hard plastic cake scraper to help with stubborn labels.  It saved my hands.
